Quality Inn Buellton - Solvang

recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say, it’s in a fantastic spot! Right off the freeway, it’s incredibly easy to access, which makes it perfect for travelers passing through. The location is also great for exploring the surrounding area. There are many charming small businesses nearby, perfect for a bit of local shopping and dining. If you're into wine, there’s a beautiful winery close by where you can relax and enjoy the views. Plus, the hotel is nestled near farmland, offering a peaceful, scenic atmosphere that’s hard to beat. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with convenient access to both local attractions and natural beauty.

Fabulous breakfast, great people behind the front desk.

Room was very nice Breakfast was very yummy Room and hotel were very clean, very nice Every employee I came across had a smile And were super nice to me The maid even asked me if I needed anything like new towels etc. and was super nice and friendly to me.! I actually couldn’t have asked for more!

The bed is extremely comfortable although the backend of the hotel, where my room was located, borders Hwy 101 which makes it a little noisy at night. The breakfast served is great with very attentive and pleasant service. Upon check in, fresh baked chocolate cookies available too! Overall, staff are very friendly and accommodating, greeting you with cheery hello in the morning - the only exception was the young man who checked me in on Thursday, the 25th - was abrupt and condescending for an initial distasteful experience - for example, asked where I might find the Santa Ynez Valley Visitors Guide and he waved abstractly with his arm "across the street" before going back to his computer ( I discovered later a turnstile in lobby where magazine was in abundance!) or when the key didn't open door and I asked for help, he rudely indicated "follow the arrow!" Which was true - but counter intuitive as arrow is in opposite direction of font for hotel name.

Dogs allowed and great long and wide grass area. Grass area is up to 4 blocks long for a good dog walk. Dog park 4 blocks away. Wineries are just past Solvang-- 15 min from hotel when no traffic. Industrial eats--great hidden gem for dinner (chef owner and operated)--less than 10 min from hotel. Great water pressure and hot breakfast included. Why would you stay anywhere else??
